Elder Writing Online

About the Project

What We Do

Elder Writing Project is an outreach project of the Litquake Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit registered in the state of California. Now in its fourth year, the Elder Project brings creative writing and storytelling workshops to retirement communities across San Francisco and Oakland. After twelve weeks of opening new pathways to self-expression and greater socialization, each class publishes an anthology and performs at a live reading for friends and loved ones in-person or online.

Who We Are

Litquake's Elder Project is supported in part by the Bill Graham Memorial Foundation and the California Arts Council, a state agency.
